About The Role: Here’s What The Role Entails

We’re looking for a talented and innovative Web and Graphic Designer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in both graphic design and web development, who can seamlessly blend creativity with functionality. The ideal candidate will be skilled in designing engaging visuals for both print and digital platforms, while also having the technical expertise to optimize websites for an exceptional user experience. Your work will directly shape the visual identity of dealership websites and the Novus brand, making a significant impact on how we connect with our audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Web Design & Development:
  • Design, build, and optimize websites using WordPress and WebFlow.
  • Ability to customize WordPress themes, templates, and CSS style sheets when required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure websites are aligned with brand guidelines and designed intelligently for the audience.
  • Reimagine and optimize dealership websites, ensuring seamless user experience and functionality.
  • Graphic Design:
  • Design high-impact custom graphics, illustrations, and infographics for print materials (brochures, flyers, posters), digital platforms, social media, and events.
  • Develop creative assets that drive marketing campaigns and support brand initiatives.
  • Ensure all designs are consistent with brand guidelines and optimized for a variety of formats and platforms.
  • User Experience (UX):
  • Apply a user-centric design approach to improve site navigation, usability, and engagement. Including the direction of simplifying web pages experiences leveraging multi-media and action-oriented copy.
  • Utilize SEO best practices to design websites that are optimized for search.
  • Enhance user experience through strategic layout design, intuitive navigation, and visual hierarchy.
  • Collaboration & Innovation:
  • Work closely with the Brand and Integrated Marketing Manager and Manager of Dealership Marketing to bring new ideas to life.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather feedback, iterate, and improve web and graphic designs.
  • Provide fresh and innovative design solutions that align with current design trends and technology.
  • Integration & Technical Expertise:
  • Knowledge of AI integrations and API connectivity is an asset.
  • Build and maintain integrations from CRM platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, DealerSocket) to the website.
  • Ensure website performance and compatibility across devices and browsers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web design and graphic design.
  • College / design diploma
  • Strong proficiency in WordPress, WebFlow, CSS, and HTML.
  • Expertise in graphic design softwares (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to website design.
  • Experience in user experience (UX) principles, including wireframing and prototyping is an asset.
  • Ability to create designs for print, digital, and social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of AI integrations, API connectivity, and building integrations with CRM platforms (e.g., Klaviyo) is a plus.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including websites, custom graphics, and print materials.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a creative problem-solving mindset.
  • A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Pay: $65,000 - $70,000 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
