The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative E-commerce and Marketing Coordinator to join our team and take charge of our digital marketing efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our e-commerce platforms, executing targeted advertising campaigns, and collaborating with external agencies to drive brand growth.
You'll play a key part in ensuring our Shopify and Amazon storefronts are optimized for performance, while also identifying new opportunities to enhance customer engagement and increase sales.
This is a unique opportunity for an individual who is also interested in joining the outdoor industry. You are passionate about all things digital, e-commerce, and connected devices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of customer journeys, including web and Amazon Project briefing and the coordination of production assets for various digital channels
- Ensure campaigns and customer journeys are consistent across channels and touchpoints
- Oversee the creation of discounts and promotions
- Assist with the launch of campaigns and enhancements to the customer experience by inputting content into digital systems, such as Shopify and Amazon Seller Central Support reporting and analytics on an ongoing as well as identify actionable opportunities to improve e-commerce and digital marketing performance
- Analyze sales and inventory to generate the sales trend and manage demand planning
- Report on paid and organic search campaigns and initiatives
- Manage product listings including listing strategy and product description
- Setup and maintain products across Amazon, and other e-commerce channels
- Manage all SEO efforts to maximize ROI, drive organic traffic and revenue
- Ensure all elements on the Hillsound website are optimized to drive rankings and attract relevant traffic relevant traffic
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
- Drive traffic to our brand website via external sources
- Monitor and manage active subscriptions for marketing tools and services
- Ensure our website meets all technical requirements to drive rankings
- Conduct research to inform digital strategy and operations
- Ad-hoc troubleshooting and liaising with stakeholders to solve e-commerce issues
- Generate, organize, and translate sales data to support the team
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1+ years of in-depth e-commerce and marketing experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Shopify or any other e-commerce platform
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Amazon FBA Knowledge of e-commerce backend systems
- A fundamental understanding of marketing channels and the role they play in a customer’s journey
- Detail-oriented - you are able to execute content creation and campaign builds and make sure assets are delivered to specifications
- Ability to work independently and take initiative – You should be capable of applying your own knowledge and experience to take on new challenges and solve problems without constant supervision.
- You are self-motivated, proactive, and driven to tackle new tasks with a positive attitude, even in unfamiliar situations
- Analytical, experience processing and analyzing data, creating reporting, and making data-driven recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for the outdoors
